You did it! You are infinitely smarter now than when we first met 180+ days ago. You persevered through a rigorous trial but you still have challenges ahead. Hopefully now you can answer the question we asked at the beginning of the year (Why are you here?). For our final blog post I want you to consider each of the following and write a few sentences about each.
- reflect back on your first year and share a moment or two that you remember most fondly
- what was your most difficult challenge
- and finally, share with us what your plans are for the summer
It was a pleasure working with you all and I will miss you. Good luck on your finals!
Mr. T
My first year was good. I meet a lot of good people. A moment I will always remember are the performances i did with the booster team. My most difficult challenge was the amount of homework we started to have. My plans for the summer is to go out with my friends and go out for my birthday.
ReplyDeletein the beginning of the year it was hard to get used to a new school with new people. my most difficult challenge was to keep my good habits in studying because i have gotten lazy over the course of the year. this summer i have no specific plans but i may go visit my grandma in Texas.
ReplyDeleteIn the beginning of the year it was hard adjusting to a new school because I didn't have any friends and i felt like an outsider. One moment that I remember is when I accidentally slammed my hand into my locker. My most difficult challenge had to be adjusting to all the homework the teachers gave us. For the summer i'm going to the Bahamas.
ReplyDeletein the beginning of the year it was a hard adjustment from upstate. i definitely needed to get used to the "city life". one moment i will remember is when i found out i made varsity basketball, i was so happy and overjoyed, it was the best, and i met so many nice people on the team. i made really nice friends and other close people. the most difficult was the homework and test and quizzes especially for global. that was hard and i'm really nervous for my regents and finals. for the summer i got a really good job that pays well, and i'm gonna chill with some friends and some close gal pals.
ReplyDelete1.reflect back on your first year and share a moment or two that you remember most fondly.
ReplyDeleteThis is a very magical experience. I have met many small partners here and learned a lot of knowledge. Also hated my cousin. But this cannot stop me from going forward.
2.what was your most difficult challenge?
I think this should be my language.
3.and finally, share with us what your plans are for the summer.
I will return to China and then go to see some annoying relatives. But I will also participate in many secondary yuan anime exhibition! Out of cosplay and so on .... (in the excitement) I will go to eat many Chinese meals, and go to play with my parents! I am very excited! !
yeah!
1. My best moment was when I was working on the video with Makarena and Lauren,it was entertaining because we goofed around a lot and many times, the class periods were hilarious.
ReplyDelete2. The most difficult challenge was doing the scratch projects because when we started them, I had almost no idea what I was doing.
3. My plans this summer are to go to Spain and spend time with friends/family.
It was the beginning it was tough. I had only two friends here and i thought every class was going to be extremely hard. It kind of was. A fond memory I have was when I got my nickname loose leaf accidently from my teacher and purposely from my class. It is my official nickname and I love it. A challenge was getting finding new friends. I have luckily fund a few awesome people who I can call friends. My plans for this summer is to go to California and go to Yosemite.
ReplyDelete1. My first year of high school actually wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I met a lot of new people and made many new memorable experiences. For example, I remember how on the first day of school, when we were in homeroom, we were all so shy that no one made a sound. Today, I find it funny how we now have the loudest homeroom.
ReplyDelete2. My most difficult challenge this year was probably adjusting to all the work, the transit, the teachers' different teaching styles, and the all new classmates. It was all so different from what I was used to.
3. This summer I plan on trying to get my first job. I often like going to the beach with my mom, hang out with friends, and go on day trips with my family during the summer. Also, in August I'm going to Niagara Falls.
My first yearat Saint Saviour started out a little hard because i did not know anyone and was worried about making new friends. As the year when on i was able to make more friends and become more confident. I was also afraid of getting around the school but having my sophomore, junior, and senior sisters it made me feel a little bit more confident and less scared. I was very suprised with my result in Algebra since Math is not my strongest subject and it made me feel very good about myself knowing i was not failing Math.As the school year is coming to an end this summer i will volunteer at a school to help kids, i will travel, and hangout with my friends. This year was quite interesting but i loved spending time with friends in school and also joining the soccer team which was really fun.
