In the last post we discussed how a community of readers gives new life to a blog. The great thing about blogs is that they can be about anything and it is a fresh perspective from outside the mainstream. Do you love to travel? Start a travel blog and it becomes your unique view on the topic. For this post I want you to pretend this is your blog. Write a post about a recent experience you had with something you have a strong opinion about. It can be negative or positive. Your post should be 6-10 sentences at a minimum. Compare and contrast what you are writing about with other things similar to your topic. For example: If you are writing about a record from a particular artist, compare it to similar artists or the artists earlier work. Same for restaurants, etc. See examples for ideas. The key is to be passionate

I just watched 47 meters down which is a movie about two sisters who go on holiday in Mexico, and are invited to cage dive and see sharks up close. When the cable holding the cage breaks and it plummets to the ocean floor with the two girls trapped inside, they must find a way to escape, with their air supplies running low and great white sharks stalking nearby. I thought this movie was going to be an action packed thriller but instead it left me very disappointed. This because it shows them being saved but in the reality you find out one of the sisters hallucinates them escaping and ends up getting saved while the other sister gets attacked by a shark. I wouldn't waste anytime watching this movie.
ReplyDeleteRecently, I went to a Peruvian restaurant called Surfish and can I say, it was great!! The service, the setting, and overall the food was all great. I definitely recommend you to go not just because I am Peruvian and love Peruvian food but because it was really great and the people there treat you with respect and also why not try somethingnew. If you ever go I recommend trying Anticuchos which is Grilled brochettes of beef heart, macerated in vinegar and aji panca (hot pepper), it is amazing.Surfish has a variety of peruvian foods, which to me are all good. Once again, whenever you can stop by and try it out.
ReplyDeleteJust recently I went to see the new Avengers Infinity War movie, and it was awesome! It included not only the original avengers, but a whole bunch more superheros. I thought it was one of the best cross-over superhero movies I've ever seen! Comparing it to the first two, I'd say it was better, but not by much. All it seemed to have better was the villain and ending, which was a cliffhanger. Usually I don't like cliffhangers, but this one got me really exited for the next one to come. All in all, I would 10/10 recommend this movie to any sort of superhero fan, it was a truly a great film.
ReplyDeleteI recently went to Hispanic restaurant named Salud Bar and Grill. I have to say I was amazed with the scenery of the Restaurant and how nice everything was set up. The food was amazing I highly recommend going to that restaurant. And customer service was great. And since we went for my moms birthday they were very nice and gave my mom a special treat. I loved this Restaurant and think its a great place to have a nice family or friend gathering.
ReplyDeleteI recently listened to Bts new album Love Yourself: Tear. I really liked the songs they each talk/ express different emotions. My favorite song is Airplane pt.2, the song has a Spanish inspired beat and it is very good, as well as Outro;Tear is more of a rap song. I would give it a solid 9.5/10. I would recommend!
ReplyDeleteI just recently listened to Cardi B's new album. The songs are really nice. She mostly sang about her life of becoming famous and love/emotions. My favorite one is Thru your phone and get up 100. I give her album a 9/10
ReplyDeleteI recently watched the spy next door. Its a movie about a spy (Jackie Chan) who falls in love with a women and her kids. They have no idea abut his double life, so when he has to leave abruptly for work, they think hes doing a regular day job. Their relationship begins to deepen and she goes out leaving him to babysit. His mission is to catch a bad guy but they kids interfere almost getting all of them Killed. This is close to any other spy movies for example Spy Kids. However, the drama is intense. I love this movie so much and Jackie Chan knows ow to beat up a bad guy!
ReplyDeleteI recently watched a movie called everything, everything . I was about a girl who had a disease and wasn't allowed to go outside. In my opinion it was a great movie and i advise for people to go watch it. I give it 10/10
